We need to be aware of our selves. Awareness is not an act. What I'm explaining here is very difficult to put in to words.
Be aware simply means that whatever we do we need to it with awareness. It is very simple and actually innocent. When we eat we have to be aware of that we eat, when drink be aware of it, when walk be aware of it etc....moment to moment we have to be aware of what we are doing.
When we are aware of whatever we are doing we are getting connected with our inside. We connect to the aliveness within.When we are fully aware and doing something ...... mind cannot generate thoughts at that moment.
Just be conscious of whatever act we conduct. We do many things in life mechanically, with no awareness. We eat, drink, sleep, bath with no awareness. Humans have become machines like.
You can experiment this and see the difference of an act with awareness and without awareness. You start walking mechanically. you just walk and see.
And next walk with awareness. You yourself will feel the difference.
If you are are joyful, be aware that you are joyful .Even if you are angry be aware of that.
This way we will find an easiest way of connecting with our inner self and the center. When we practice being aware... we are continuously at the center of the being.
We people get lost in certain emotions that we feel difficult to come out. Some people get lost in love, some cannot come out of sorrow, fear etc. That is because they are not aware of it. Go deeper in to anything with awareness. Then there is no way you can get lost.
Going deeper in to love with awareness, makes it a beyond mind ,sacred experience.
This is not mind related at all.
Awareness brings light in to you. Darkness disappears when you become aware of yourself. By becoming aware you become peaceful and relaxed.
For example If I'm sad, worried and depressed- I can become aware of these and by being aware.... relaxation will start happening within me those will start disappearing.
Also I can try the other way by making myself relaxed by some means... these emotions will start disappearing. When we are relaxed also... awareness starts happening within.
Awareness is the true path. It is very beautiful.
